Wealth Awareness

Wealth strategies aren’t just for the rich and famous.

If you’ve got kids or the hopes of actually enjoying your life, you’ve got to start looking farther ahead than where your next pay check is going.

Do you remember when having $100 in your wallet was the best feeling in the world!

How about that time you UPGRADED to the vehicle you’d been dreaming of?

Maybe you tightened the purse strings and started living on a budget.

Or did you pick up an extra shift to save up?

Maybe you took on a second job?

I’ve always worked hard. I’m one of those people that will always be pushing towards my next goal.

I had to learn the hard way that hard work isn’t always enough.

I got myself into such a financial pickle in my 20’s that it’s going to take professional help for me to become a homeowner again.

Going through the foreclosure process was heartbreaking.

It’s taken me until NOW to start rebuilding my “worth” on paper.

I once carried a life insurance policy worth $500,000 when my ex husband and I owned our appliance repair business.

We purchased our first home in 2003 when I was only 21 years old.

We took advantage of the market and sold 2 years later making $200,000 profit.

That went into our next house which was large enough to house the business and our growing family.

Unfortunately, the property wasn’t zoned for our brick and mortar business like our agent had assured us.

And how exactly did we get ourselves into an adjustable rate mortgage? I didn’t even know what that was at the time!

As the economy began it’s nose dive, I started using credit cards to keep the business going.

In 2008, I got divorced and closed our doors permanently.

I went from driving a brand new Avalanche, making 5k a month, to needing food stamps to feed my 4 kids virtually overnight. I started cleaning vacation rentals and working as a night auditor at a hotel.

Talk about humbling.

It’s taken me 8 long years to get my feet back under me!

But now I’m ready to grab my financial future by the horns!

I’ve got a long hard road ahead of me, but I’m confident in the team I’ve partnered with.

I’m confident in my determination.

I am confident in my ability!

If words like debt reduction, asset allocation, and trust planning give you the willies, you’re not alone.

The first step to creating a wealth strategy is only a click away.

I can’t wait to get back to a place of financial security with savings in the bank, a retirement plan in place, and peace of mind!

Don’t be like most people and think you’ll never get there!

You’re here!

Congratulations!

You’ve become aware of the fact that you need to do more than just earn money.

Don’t get me wrong!

That’s the first and probably most important step.

I could teach you budgeting until I’m blue in the face, but that won’t matter without the first step.

And all the coupon cutting in the world isn’t enough anymore.

Now we’ve got to be smarter.

We’ve realized that our future isn’t going to be taken care of by the government.

It’s getting less and less likely that your j.o.b. is going to take care of you either.

Don’t panic!

You’re here! You are in the right place!

Over the next few weeks we’ll “crack the code” on wealth management and get you to a place of CONFIDENCE!

I hope this peak into my past helped you see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Don’t let complicated jargon stand in the way of your dreams!

Always Be Growing,

Sarah
